Extended chat history search

With an IM client, it’s always useful to review past conversations for many purposes (e.g. retrieve important information). The purpose of this project is to extend the current chat history feature in SIP Communicator to enable users to configure various parameters on how conversations are recorded and stored. These parameters would be (but not limited to) the amount of chat logs to keep, both in terms of kB and date, which items to log, the location where chat logs are saved, etc. Also, this project consists of improving the present history search engine in order to allow users to retrieve as fast as possible specific information from past conversations. The search engine should accept various search conditions such as keyword, date, protocol, contact, etc.
