Support for MySpaceIM
MySpace is a social networking website allowing users to communicate in many different ways (messages, blogs, IM, …). This website has a very important community making it one the most popular website in the world.
Few years ago, MySpace introduced MySpaceIM which is the official IM client for MySpace. It uses a proprietary protocol but it seems that some unofficial specifications exist.
Many IM clients now support the MySpaceIM protocol (in addition to the official MySpaceIM client): Skype, Pidgin, Adium, Ebuddy, Trillian Astra, …

This project is about adding a new protocol in SIP Communicator to support MySpaceIM. The student will have to search for a library implementing the protocol and select the best one (or develop an home-made solution if nothing is usable here). Once this step done, the protocol will be integrated in SIP Commmunicator. The implementation must be compatible with the IM clients currently supporting this protocol.
