Connecting with your preferred Address Book
With our email client, mobile phone, chat program we keep multiplying contact lists and address books and it becomes more and more difficult to keep everything up to date. Synchronization has become crucial to users.
The goal of this project is to implement a way for SIP Communicator to connect to native address books such as Outlook, Thunderbird, Kontact, Evolution, Address Book, whichever you prefer and allow users to:
- execute quick searches using SIP Communicator’s search field.
- call people that we have a phone number for.
- add to their contact lists users that we’ve found an IM address for.
Depending on what OS you feel most comfortable with you may apply for the implementation of this feature on one or more operating systems.
